Bedriftsintern opplæring (BIO-midler)

BIO-ordningen (Bedriftsintern opplæring) provides financial support to businesses in Vestfold county for internal training of employees. The program targets companies undergoing significant changes in their products, services, work methods, or entering new markets. The funding aims to strengthen employee competence and help avoid layoffs during restructuring periods. The support is available for employed, fully or partially laid-off workers. When employees receive training through this program, they are no longer considered laid-off but receive wages from their employer. The grant helps businesses acquire new competencies needed for business transformation and digital transitions. Note: No funds have been allocated for the BIO program in 2026, and no new projects will be started, though ongoing projects will continue.
