Beinecke Scholarship

The Beinecke Scholarship Program provides substantial scholarships for highly motivated students to pursue graduate study in the arts, humanities, and social sciences. The award provides $5,000 immediately prior to entering graduate school and an additional $30,000 while attending graduate school, for a total of $35,000. Funding must be used within five years of completion of undergraduate studies. This scholarship is designed for undergraduate juniors who have a history of being eligible to receive need-based financial aid during their undergraduate studies, with a slight preference for Pell Grant recipients. Recipients must plan to enter a research- or creative-focused master's or doctoral degree program in the arts, humanities, or social sciences, excluding neuroscience or clinical psychology.
