Belayet Khan Geography Award

The Belayet Khan Geography Award is a scholarship for junior or senior students majoring in Geography at Eastern Illinois University. The award recognizes students who demonstrate dedication to the discipline of Geography and have completed at least two full semesters of study. Recipients must be full-time students maintaining a minimum GPA of 3.0. In exceptional circumstances, the award may be given to a sophomore. Financial need is also taken into consideration when selecting recipients. This award is announced in the Fall semester and disbursed in the Spring semester. The scholarship amount varies based on available funding.
