About this opportunity

The Bell Burnell Graduate Scholarship Fund is an innovative fund instigated by leading physicist Professor Dame Jocelyn Bell Burnell and the Institute of Physics, to encourage greater diversity in physics. The scholarship supports full or part-time graduates wishing to study towards a doctorate in physics and is specifically aimed at groups that are currently under-represented in the subject. The University of St Andrews is only permitted to support one nomination for this scholarship, making it a highly competitive opportunity for prospective doctoral students in physics and astronomy.
