Belmont Farms Scholarship with 1 year placement

The Belmont Farms Scholarship is open to all 2nd year BSc or 1st year FdSc students studying at Harper Adams University who are interested in pursuing a career in the Pig Industry with Belmont Farms. A placement year with Belmont Farms must be suitable for the student's course area. Belmont Farms may award one scholarship to a successful recipient. The scholarship provides a significant contribution towards education of £9,000 in the year prior to placement. A scholarship of £4,500 is awarded in the current academic year with the opportunity to be awarded up to a further £4,500 scholarship subject to satisfactory completion of the Industrial Placement. The successful candidate will also receive employment with Belmont Farms during their placement year. This is a competitive award which will be evaluated on merit of the submitted application, academic achievements to date, and interview. A condition of the scholarship is that the recipient must undertake their placement year with JMW Farms.
