Belmont Forum Oceans 2

The Belmont Forum invites international collaboration in its second call on marine environment, biodiversity and society. This is Belmont Forum's second call on ocean and coastal environments. The call has three themes and applications must cover at least one of the three themes. Projects must be transdisciplinary and include partners from at least three of the countries participating in the call. The call is approved as an activity under the UN Ocean Research Decade. The purpose of the call is to increase knowledge about the marine environment and promote international interdisciplinary research to address global marine environmental challenges. The Research Council of Norway is participating with NOK 27 million for Norwegian research organizations. There is a two-stage application process and only invited applicants from the pre-proposal call can submit full applications to the main deadline.
