Ben L. Fryrear Scholarship for Business Students

The Ben L. Fryrear Scholarship for Business Students supports second-year students at Tarrant County College who are pursuing an associate degree in business-related fields. Eligible programs include accounting, business, management, marketing, office administration, or small business management. Applicants must have graduated from a high school in Tarrant County, Texas, and demonstrate financial need according to federal or state guidelines. The scholarship requires a minimum TCC GPA of 2.5, completion of at least 25 credit hours at TCC, and enrollment in a minimum of 12 credit hours during the award period. Recipients who maintain a minimum semester GPA of 2.5 and complete at least 12 credit hours in the fall will automatically receive a spring scholarship, making this a renewable award for one academic year. Students are automatically considered for this scholarship based on their completed General Application through the Tarrant County College Foundation Scholarships platform. The scholarship is designed to support local students pursuing business education at the community college level while demonstrating both academic achievement and financial need.
