About This Opportunity
Bengt Ihre Research Fellowship is more than just a research grant. As a Fellow, you are invited to a national network consisting of Sweden's leading researchers in gastroenterology. Through two mandatory meetings per year, you get a unique opportunity to network and build new projects in close collaboration with several of Sweden's leading researchers. The fellowship provides support for clinical research projects for two years within gastroenterology and gastrointestinal surgery. The fellowship gives support to doctors/clinical researchers after dissertation to perform clinical, epidemiological or basic science studies at their home clinic with supervision and research resources. The scholarship program is individualized according to the applicant and may include part of salary as well as finance project-related costs such as statistical consultant services, ethics permits, laboratory resources and analyses, research nurses, and more.
