Bennett A. Brown Scholarship

The Bennett A. Brown Scholarship provides financial support to students at Georgia State University who have a documented language-based learning disability. This scholarship specifically targets students whose learning disability substantially limits their ability to read, write, or comprehend spoken language, and who are registered with the Margaret A. Staton Office of Disability Services at Georgia State University. To be eligible for this scholarship, recipients must demonstrate financial need and must be either entering freshmen who have been accepted for admission to Georgia State University or undergraduate students already enrolled at the institution. The scholarship award amount varies depending on available funds and the recipient's financial need. Applicants are automatically considered for this scholarship based on their completed General Application through the Georgia State University scholarship portal. No separate application is required beyond completing the General Application and meeting the eligibility criteria.
