About this opportunity
The Bernard and Daphne Cornish Engineering Scholarship supports undergraduate engineering students at The University of Queensland who demonstrate both academic excellence and financial hardship. The scholarship was established in 2013 through endowed gifts by Mr Bernard Cornish and Mrs Daphne Cornish. It provides financial support to students enrolled full-time in Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)/Master of Engineering, or dual engineering programs who have completed at least their first year and achieved a GPA of at least 4 for each semester. The scholarship gives preference to students studying in mechanical engineering fields and to previous recipients who continue to face financial hardship. Up to two scholarships are awarded annually for a duration of one year, with the value determined by the Dean and committee for each scholarship.
