BerryWorld Scholarship (with one year work placement)

The BerryWorld Scholarship is open to all 2nd year BSc or 1st year FdSc students studying at Harper Adams who are interested in pursuing a career in the soft fruit industry with BerryWorld. The scholarship provides comprehensive financial support and career development opportunities in the soft fruit industry. Recipients receive £4,500 in educational support during the year prior to placement, followed by a paid placement year with BerryWorld at a salary of £24,500. The placement includes 1:1 business coaching support, and subject to review, there may be opportunities for further funding in the final academic year and entry into year 2 of the company's graduate trainee programme after graduation. This is a competitive award evaluated on merit of application, academic achievements, and interview performance. A condition of the scholarship is that students undertake their placement year with BerryWorld in a role suitable for their course area. The scholarship combines educational funding with practical work experience and potential long-term career pathways in the soft fruit industry.
