Bert Church Bar None Entrance Award

The Bert Church Bar None Entrance Award is an endowed scholarship awarded to students with satisfactory academic standing from Alberta or Saskatchewan enrolled in the first year of an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences. Students must be entering directly from high school or transferring into the first year from another postsecondary institution. Selection is based on demonstrated leadership through involvement in volunteer, community, sports or political activities, combined with academic standing. This award was established through endowed funds by Dr. Robert Church in memory of his father, Bertram C Church, to support outstanding first-year students pursuing studies in agricultural, life and environmental sciences.
