About This Opportunity

Linnea & Josef Carlssons Stiftelse provides financial support to children and young people with cerebral palsy (CP) or other neurological disabilities. The grants are intended for individuals affected by diseases or injuries to the brain, spinal cord, nerves, or muscles. Support is only available to persons up to and including the year they turn 29 years old. Grants can be provided for recreation, travel, camps, cabin rental, computers, TV/video equipment, musical instruments, special bicycles, mobile phones, washing machines/dryers, driver's license training, and similar needs. The foundation does not provide grants to children and young people with only allergies, rheumatic diseases, or diabetes, nor for visual and hearing impairments or neuropsychiatric functional disabilities such as ADHD and autism without other neurological conditions. Income limits apply during the evaluation process. Grants are not provided if the action has been taken or the equipment has been purchased before the board's decision. Applications must be submitted by the deadlines of March 31 and October 15 each year.

Applications submitted by March 31 receive decisions in early June; applications submitted by October 15 receive decisions in early December
