About this opportunity
A bursary, valued at up to $3,000, will be awarded annually to a full-time undergraduate student entering Year One of any program in the Faculty of Engineering who has a demonstrated financial need, as determined by the University of Waterloo. Students must complete the Waterloo Entrance Bursary application by April 15 to be considered. This fund was created in memory of Betty Bell, who loved school but was unable to pursue higher education because of financial hardship. The bursary is specifically designed to support incoming engineering students who face financial barriers to pursuing higher education, ensuring that financial circumstances do not prevent qualified students from accessing engineering education at the University of Waterloo.
