Betty Loughhead Soroptimist Scholarship

The Betty Loughhead Soroptimist Scholarship provides financial assistance to women who are studying a qualification to enter or re-enter the workforce or to change their occupation. This scholarship is offered by Soroptimist International of New Zealand, an organization that exists to inspire action and create opportunities to transform the lives of women and girls. The scholarship awards up to $5,000 annually to eligible applicants who are New Zealand citizens, at least 25 years old, and have a proven record of academic achievement. Recipients must be able to use the scholarship in the 2025 academic year and be willing to participate in Soroptimist promotional activities if successful.
