This EU-funded grant opportunity aims to help small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Eastern Central Sweden become more energy efficient. The program seeks project proposals that will support SMEs in reducing their energy costs and climate impact through various means including knowledge building, consulting, and developing support structures. Projects should adapt their activities to the needs of SMEs, create benefits for multiple companies, and preferably connect resilience, preparedness, and climate transition issues. The program encourages collaboration between different actors and sectors including construction, industrial production, and food industry. Projects can focus on direct support to companies through consulting and efficiency improvements, or on developing support structures and methods within the business promotion system. The funding supports development projects and feasibility studies that promote energy efficiency improvements in Eastern Central Sweden, covering the regions of Örebro, Östergötland, Sörmland, Uppsala, and Västmanland.
