Bidrag till klinisk studie inom behandlingsforskning

This grant supports clinical therapy research studies motivated by Swedish healthcare needs and expected to lead to patient and societal benefits in Sweden within a relatively short timeframe. Clinical therapy research includes both intervention and observational studies, and encompasses prevention, diagnostics, follow-up, implementation, nursing care, and rehabilitation. The grant enables a constellation of researchers within regions and academia to collaborate with a common research goal. The funding requires national collaboration with researcher cooperation between at least 5 researchers and active patient recruitment in at least 5 regions, unless exceptions can be justified. The study must be led by an experienced clinical researcher with clinical employment in Sweden. The application process is two-stage, with an initial sketch application followed by a full application for shortlisted candidates. Funded studies are expected to demonstrate direct clinical benefit and contribute to better resource utilization in healthcare.
