Big Give Christmas Challenge

The Christmas Challenge is the UK's biggest collaborative fundraising campaign that provides match funding to UK-registered charities. Through this program, charities can have public donations doubled during a week-long campaign in December. The program uses a Pledge Model where charities must first secure match funding from their own supporters (pledgers), and if eligible, they can be awarded up to the same amount again from Big Give's Champion partners. Charities can raise between £2,000 and £50,000 in public donations, which are then matched by the combined pool of pledge funds and Champion funds. The program supports a wide range of charitable causes including global poverty, gender equality, climate change, and mental wellbeing. Charities working both in the UK and overseas are eligible to participate.
