BigSun Scholarship 2026

The BigSun Organization offers an annual scholarship to deserving student athletes to help them succeed in their academic pursuits. All student athletes are eligible regardless of the sport they are engaged in or the capacity in which they participate. Applicants must be a high school senior or be attending a post-secondary institute. The scholarship requires submission of a short essay (500-1,000 words) addressing how participation in sports influenced the student during high school, their career goals, and their family relationships. The award amount is $500 and winners are notified within 2 weeks of the deadline, with the award mailed shortly after.
