BILD Alberta Scholarships for Construction Careers - Apprenticeship Grant (Intakes I-V)

The BILD Alberta Scholarships for Construction Careers - Apprenticeship Grant is available to students from historically marginalized and excluded communities enrolled in specific apprenticeship programs at NAIT. The scholarship supports apprentices in Cabinetmaker, Carpenter, Electrician, Glazier, Insulator, Plumber, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic, and Roofer programs. Awards are based on a written statement detailing the applicant's personal journey to post-secondary education and satisfactory academic standing. Preference is given to students demonstrating financial need. The scholarship particularly values supporting underrepresented groups in construction careers. Previous recipients of the BILD Alberta Scholarships for Construction Careers - Apprenticeship Grant are given preference upon reapplication in subsequent years of apprenticeship training at NAIT. Apprentices must submit an application and will only be considered for the intake they attend at NAIT.
