Bill Harvie Scholarship/Fellowship

One award, valued at $5,000 over four years, is provided to an undergraduate student entering Year One of any program in the School of Accounting and Finance at the University of Waterloo. The award is structured as a hybrid scholarship/fellowship program. In the first two years, recipients receive scholarship payments of $1,000 each year based on academic achievement and leadership qualities. In Years Three and Four, recipients receive fellowship payments of $1,500 each year in exchange for providing teaching or research assistance. Continuance in Years Two, Three, and Four is dependent on the recipient maintaining an 80% overall average. Selection is based on academic achievement, leadership qualities, and program-specific assessments including the AFM Admissions Assessment (AFMAA) for AFM and SFM students, or CEMC contest results for Mathematics students.
