The Bill Paranchych Memorial Scholarship in Cell Biochemistry is awarded to a student with superior academic achievement entering fourth year Honors or Specialization in Biochemistry. Selection is based on academic standing. Recipients will not be in receipt of another major award. This scholarship is funded through an endowment established by family and friends in memory of Bill Paranchych, Professor of Microbiology and former Chair of Microbiology at the University of Alberta.
