About this opportunity
The Bill Taciuk Scholarship in Mining, Materials and Petroleum Engineering is awarded annually to a student with superior academic achievement entering either the second, third, or fourth year in the Mining, Materials or Petroleum Engineering programs at the University of Alberta. The recipient will be selected on the basis of academic standing. This endowed scholarship was established with funds provided by the 1993 Alberta Oil Sands Technology & Research Authority Karl A Clark Distinguished Service Award presented to Mr. William (Bill) Taciuk for his outstanding contributions to the furthering of Oil Sands Technology in Alberta. Students are automatically considered based on their completed General Application through the University of Alberta's scholarship system.
