Bill Thon Memorial Scholarship

The Bill Thon Memorial Scholarship was established in 2023 by the Friends of the Rustlers Community Group to support student athletes who are active members of the Lakeland College Rustlers Women's Hockey Team. This scholarship recognizes students who demonstrate strong academic performance and leadership qualities within their team. Recipients must be enrolled full-time in the University Transfer program, Bachelor of Education route, and maintain satisfactory academic standing. The scholarship specifically targets women's hockey players who exemplify both athletic and academic excellence while showing leadership on their team.
