About This Opportunity

The Binar Biddi PhD Scholarship supports Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people in pursuing doctoral research in veterinary science at Murdoch University. Binar means shooting star and biddi means path, together representing 'path of the shooting star'. This scholarship provides an annual stipend of $37,000 per year for 3.5 years totaling $129,500, plus maintenance funds of $5,000 per year for 3 years totaling $15,000, for a total award of $144,500. Murdoch University's veterinary science research crafts solutions to improve animal welfare and productivity, and supports the conservation of iconic Australian wildlife and ecosystems.
