About this opportunity

The Biocodex Microbiota Foundation is calling on inspired researchers at Canadian institutions in the microbiome field to submit proposals for funding their projects. For 2025, the Canadian grant will be awarded to an investigator studying a 1 to 2-year long research project within the topic of microbiome in human health and diseases. Studies in translational animal models are encouraged. The grant is intended as a seeding or bridging grant, to help investigators initiate a project to become independent. Applicants performing any type of research (basic, translational, clinical) relevant to microbiota are strongly encouraged to apply. The Foundation complies with EDI (Equity, Diversity, Inclusion) principles and encourages people from all ethnics, races, and minorities to apply.
