For 2026, the grant will be awarded to an investigator studying 'Harnessing the Gut Microbiome: Impacts on Health, Disease, Diagnosis and Therapeutics.' This grant may be applied to a new or an existing ongoing study. The grant is intended to be mainly an operational grant, not a salary grant, with indirect institutional costs allowed up to 10%.
