About this opportunity
The Bioengineering UG Department Bursary is a financial award offered by Imperial College London's Department of Bioengineering to support undergraduate students from underrepresented backgrounds. This bursary provides £2,000 per annum to eligible students pursuing bioengineering-related undergraduate programs. The scholarship aims to increase access to higher education for students who are care leavers, come from areas with high levels of deprivation, are first-generation university attendees, or attend UK state comprehensive schools. Seven awards are available for the 2025/2026 academic year, supporting students with Home fee status studying full-time in the Department of Bioengineering. Eligible courses include MEng Biomedical Engineering, MEng Molecular Bioengineering, and BSc Biomedical Technology Ventures. This bursary is specifically designed for prospective students entering Imperial College London and is not available to continuing students already enrolled at the institution.
