About this opportunity
The Biological Sciences Graduate Student Association Scholar Award is a merit-based scholarship for graduate students in the Biological Sciences Masters program at Eastern Illinois University. The award recognizes students who are active members of BSGSA in good standing and demonstrate excellence in scholarly or research activities and departmental or campus involvement. Recipients must submit a study plan and thesis outline or provide documentation of a past or future internship according to their selected Biological Sciences Masters option. Precedence is given to first-year graduate students enrolled in the program. The award requires submission of a CV/resume, letter of support from a faculty advisor, a 250-word summary discussing the need for funding and achievements, and a projected budget for use of funds. The award is announced and disbursed in the Spring semester.
