Birmingham Business School Doctoral Scholarships

Birmingham Business School offers Doctoral Scholarships to outstanding candidates pursuing doctoral level study on a topic within its core research areas. The scholarships are available to candidates of the highest academic calibre who wish to conduct doctoral research in Accounting, Finance, Management, Marketing, and Strategy & International Business at Birmingham Business School. The scholarships cover tuition fees and pay a stipend to support doctoral study. A successful applicant is expected to have a very good undergraduate degree (minimum 2:1, preferably first class honours) and in most cases should hold or expect to achieve a very good Master's degree (at least merit, preferably distinction level) in a Business or relevant subject. Applications are assessed on the quality of academic achievements, preparedness for doctoral study, quality of the research proposal, potential to contribute to cutting edge research, and the match of the proposal to areas of research strength within Birmingham Business School.
