Birmingham Masters Scholarship

The Birmingham Masters Scholarship offers £3,000 via a tuition fee discount to support the brightest and best applicants commencing their Masters study at the University of Birmingham in 2026. The scholarship aims to support Home fee-paying students progressing onto taught Masters study whilst maintaining the university's civic history. The scheme is open to all UK or Ireland students who are eligible for 'Home' fees and studying an eligible Masters degree. In recognition of the importance of talent retention in the Midlands, priority will be given to applications from students who have graduated from one of the Midlands-based universities. The scholarship provides financial support to alleviate traditional barriers to postgraduate study, alongside robust personal and academic support. Over 200 scholarships worth £3,000 each are available through this tuition fee discount program. The Birmingham Masters Scholarship has three application rounds with deadlines on 8 December 2025, 30 April 2026, and 31 July 2026.
