BizCover Women In IT Scholarship

The BizCover Women In IT Scholarship recognises the dedication of female university students pursuing information technology degrees and encourages them to pursue careers in IT. As the world becomes more digital and globalised, the need for IT workers is increasingly important, yet women face challenges and barriers in participating in STEM fields. This scholarship seeks to support women in IT through financial assistance and professional development. The scholarship awards a one-time payment of AUD $5,000 to help fund studies, along with an optional 3-month paid work placement at BizCover in Sydney. Applicants must submit a 1000-word response describing an IT-related project they have previously been involved in or wish to pursue after study. The selection process includes video interviews and evaluates past involvement in IT-related projects, academic achievement, and communication skills.
