Black Excellence Medical Education Convocating Award

The Black Excellence Medical Education Convocating Award is offered by the University of Alberta's Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry. This award is presented to a student who identifies as Black with satisfactory academic standing who is convocating with a Doctor of Medicine degree. Selection is based on both academic standing and demonstrated excellence during clinical experience. This award recognizes and supports Black medical students who have shown academic achievement and clinical excellence throughout their medical education journey at the University of Alberta.
