Blanche and Bundy Ogle Scholarship of the Gallagher Fund

The Blanche and Bundy Ogle Scholarship of the Gallagher Fund honors Blanche and Bundy Ogle, long-time residents of Chillicothe who were actively involved in their community. Bundy retired as a partner in the Eastern Avenue Lumber Company, while Blanche was a dedicated community volunteer with a strong passion for the Chillicothe Hospital (now Adena), where she devoted many hours as a volunteer and made crafts for their holiday bazaar fundraisers. The scholarship is given by their nephew Everett Gallagher, a 1979 graduate and valedictorian of Chillicothe High School. This scholarship provides $2,000 to graduates or graduating seniors from Chillicothe High School in Ross County, Ohio who will attend a college or university in the United States. Preference is given to candidates who will attend Bowling Green State University or University of Akron.
