About this opportunity
The Blue Carbon WWF Scholarship is offered in partnership with the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) to support students attending the Blue Carbon: Science & Policy course as part of the University of St Andrews Summer Study programme. The scholarship covers the full course fee including tuition, accommodation, all meals, extra-curricular activities, and access to University facilities. Additionally, it provides University-arranged travel to and from St Andrews, including one return economy flight to Edinburgh Airport and airport transfers. The Selection Committee seeks gifted students with academic excellence, particularly welcoming and encouraging applicants from the Global South. This two-week intensive summer course focuses on blue carbon science and policy. Successful scholars will be expected to fulfil an ambassadorial role, representing the University at events and contributing to various University publications. They will also provide testimonials of their experience and participate in at least one future alumni or outreach activity to support and inspire future scholars.
