BMO Founder Award

An award valued at $10,000, provided annually to a full-time, woman-identifying undergraduate or graduate student engaged in Velocity, the University of Waterloo's entrepreneurship program. Selection is based on the impact the award will have on the candidate's ability to pursue their educational and entrepreneurial goals. Candidates are required to complete the Velocity Cornerstone Program to be eligible. This fund is made possible by a donation from BMO to support women-identifying founders and entrepreneurs. The award is open to students from any program at the Masters or Doctoral level, including both Canadian/permanent residents and international students with study permits. Recipients are normally selected each Spring by Velocity staff.
