Bob Fedun Memorial Hockey Award

The Bob Fedun Memorial Hockey Award is awarded annually to members of the Golden Bears Hockey Team at the University of Alberta who are eligible for competition in the year of the award. Recipients must have a minimum grade point average of 2.0 and have successfully completed 24 units of course weight in the previous academic year. The award recognizes excellence in the sport of hockey both historically and potentially, with outstanding contribution to the team on and off the ice. Preference is given to athletes not already in receipt of other financial awards such as the Jimmie Condon award, Universiade funding, or National Carding. This endowed award was established by friends and family in memory of Bob Fedun to support student-athletes who demonstrate both athletic excellence and academic achievement.
