About this opportunity
The Bobbie Fenner Scholarship is an annual award offered by the Australian National University to provide support to a student from a remote or regional background who may have experienced financial hardship and chooses to reside in Fenner Hall. The scholarship provides a stipend of $9,000 per annum for up to 3 years, paid at the beginning of each semester. Recipients must reside in Fenner Hall to receive the scholarship. Funding has been provided by Frank Fenner in memory of his wife Bobbie Fenner. The Award is available to commencing ANU students who are domestic students, receive an offer of admission to an undergraduate program offered by the University, have received and accepted or will accept an offer to reside in Fenner Hall, and at the time of application to the University, reside in a Very Remote, Remote, Outer Regional or Inner Regional area as determined by the Australian Statistical Geography Standard.
