About This Opportunity

The Boca Grande Woman's Club offers scholarship assistance each year to a selected number of Boca Grande students graduating from accredited high schools and to qualified adults primarily employed on Boca Grande. The scholarship supports students pursuing post-secondary education at universities, colleges, trade, or vocational schools. Applicants must demonstrate academic achievement with a minimum 3.0 weighted GPA and must meet Boca Grande Island residency and/or work requirements. Financial need is evaluated through completion of the FAFSA form. Each semester, scholars must submit a personal letter stating their goals and achievements, including extra-curricular activities, along with official transcripts and proof of enrollment of 12 or more hours. The scholarship is renewable but requires reapplication each semester, with renewal not guaranteed. Students are notified in April regarding their application status.
