About this opportunity
The Boeing Aerospace Disability Opportunity Scholarship was established in 2021 and is maintained by an annual gift from Boeing Australia. The scholarship provides financial support to students with disabilities who are pursuing undergraduate studies in engineering or computer science/information technology fields at The University of Queensland. This scholarship aims to promote diversity and inclusion in aerospace and technology fields by supporting students with disabilities who are studying in areas such as electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, mechatronic engineering, software engineering, computer science, or information technology. The scholarship provides $8,000 AUD for one year to one recipient. Selection is based on academic achievement, personal qualities including leadership potential, and any other relevant considerations. Where all considerations are equal, preference is given to female or Indigenous Australian applicants.
