About this opportunity
The Boeing Defence Indigenous Scholarship is part of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Scholarship Scheme at The University of Queensland. This scholarship was established in 2021 by Boeing Defence Australia Ltd to support Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students who face financial hardship while pursuing undergraduate or honours studies in computer science, information technology, or engineering disciplines. The scholarship provides financial assistance of at least $8,000 and can be held for up to 4 years. Eligible students must be enrolled in programs such as the Bachelor of Computer Science, Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), Bachelor of Information Technology, or related honours and dual programs. One scholarship is awarded annually to a domestic student currently enrolled at UQ who can demonstrate financial hardship, leadership potential, and academic ability.
