About this opportunity
The Boeing Indigenous Engineering Scholarship is sponsored by Boeing Defence Australia, which supports some of the largest and most complex defence projects in Australia. This scholarship provides financial support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students pursuing undergraduate degrees in Business, Commerce, or Accounting at the University of Newcastle. The scholarship is valued at approximately $5,000 for one year, with one scholarship offered annually. The successful recipient will be offered the opportunity to apply for a Boeing Defence Australia internship where they can put their university studies into practice before graduating. To maintain the scholarship, recipients must demonstrate academic progress with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 4.0 or higher throughout the duration of the award. This opportunity is specifically designed to support Indigenous students in their educational journey while providing potential pathways to employment in the defence industry.
