About this opportunity
The Bomiljøtilskudd (Living Environment Grant) aims to contribute to attractive and inclusive living environments that promote contact between people in Oslo South. The grant can be used for both physical and social initiatives, such as playgrounds, upgrading of meeting places on common areas, information and competence-enhancing measures, and social events. The grant can also be used for planting trees, for example in the form of establishing orchards. Initiatives must be carried out within or in immediate connection to designated focus areas in Holmlia senter and Rudshøgda på Mortensrud. Priority is given to initiatives that benefit many people and are accessible to persons outside their own residential environment. The grant is managed by Bydel Søndre Nordstrand (Søndre Nordstrand District). Applicants must cover at least 50% of total project costs themselves, though up to 70% coverage may be considered for special needs with accounting documentation. Projects should be developed together with those the initiative is for, ensuring it becomes something people want. The available funding for 2026 will be announced in early April 2026.
