Borgs fond

Borgs fond provides grants for renovation work related to a building's origin and cultural heritage within Ystad, Sweden. The fund was established by Emil Anton Borg, a prominent citizen who served in various leadership roles in Ystad from 1898-1926. The fund supports restoration efforts that preserve the historical and cultural character of buildings. In addition to grant funding for renovation work, the fund also awards an annual prize for the best restored and maintained cultural-historical building within the city. The prize consists of 10,000 SEK and a cast bronze memorial plaque to be affixed to the recognized building.
