Borron Pratt Fund

The Borron Pratt Fund provides grants to volunteer-led and community organisations working to reduce poverty for people in Workington, Whitehaven, and along the west coast of Cumbria, including St Bees, Seascale and Holmrook. The fund supports activities that make a meaningful difference to local people, particularly those facing challenges. Examples of supported activities include renovating community spaces to support people experiencing homelessness, services for victims of domestic abuse, training to help people build skills and find employment, and activities that bring older people together and promote wellbeing. The fund is managed by Cumbria Community Foundation and was established by a private individual donor to address poverty and support vulnerable communities in West Cumbria.
