Bosetting av personer med nedsatt funksjonsevne eller atferdsvansker

This grant supports Norwegian municipalities in settling refugees with significant disabilities or behavioral challenges. The grant covers extraordinary municipal expenses directly related to the settlement of refugees in the target group who have significant functional impairments or behavioral difficulties that arose before settlement. Municipalities can apply for two types of grants: Grant 1 is a one-time needs-based grant of up to NOK 204,100 (for 2026), and Grant 2 provides annual support of up to NOK 1,921,000 (or up to NOK 2,597,500 for persons settled from special care facilities) during the integration grant period. The funding covers direct salary costs for services provided through individual decisions under health and care services law, child welfare law, education law, and kindergarten law. Only direct salary costs are covered, meaning wages connected to direct user time when the service provider is in direct interaction with the person. The grant aims to facilitate faster settlement of refugees with significant daily support needs.
