About this opportunity
This is a research scholarship for students enrolled full-time in a master's or doctoral program specializing in finance or a related field such as financial engineering or financial economics. Candidates must be conducting a thesis, supervised project, or dissertation in the field of derivatives. The scholarship competition pools applications from partner universities including McGill University, UQAM, Université de Sherbrooke, Université Laval, Concordia University, and HEC Montréal. One scholarship of $20,000 CAD is awarded annually to the best application from HEC Montréal and two additional scholarships of $20,000 each are awarded to the best applications from the partner universities. The evaluation is based on academic excellence (50%), quality of the research project (45%), and quality of the application presentation (5%).
