Bourse d'excellence Hydro-Québec (M. Sc.)

The Hydro-Québec Excellence Scholarship is awarded to students enrolled in the M.Sc. program at HEC Montréal who demonstrate excellent academic performance and whose research project is related to the energy sector or sustainable development and/or addresses Hydro-Québec's issues. To be eligible, applicants must present a research project that aligns with the interests of the Chair of Management of the Energy Sector or the e3 Pole at HEC Montréal. Applicants may be enrolled in either the thesis stream or supervised project stream, and must be registered full-time in an M.Sc. program for both fall and winter terms. The scholarship recognizes students who achieve excellent academic results in specific courses or throughout their program. Candidates who have already received a scholarship linked to a research chair funded by Hydro-Québec are not eligible. The scholarship can be renewed once for master's students, though renewal is not automatic and requires a complete new application. Recipients must participate in a ceremony organized by Hydro-Québec.
