Bourse d'excellence Hydro-Québec (Ph. D.)

The Hydro-Québec Excellence Scholarship for Ph.D. students supports doctoral candidates enrolled at HEC Montréal who demonstrate strong academic performance and whose research projects relate to the energy sector or sustainable development and align with Hydro-Québec's priorities. To be eligible, applicants must present research projects that align with the interests of the Chair of Management in the Energy Sector or the e3 Pole at HEC Montréal. The scholarship recognizes outstanding academic achievement and supports research that demonstrates positive societal impact. This is an excellence-based award that rewards exceptional students pursuing doctoral research in relevant fields. Two scholarships of $20,000 CAD each are available annually. The scholarship can be renewed up to two times, though renewal is not automatic and requires a complete new application each time. Recipients are expected to attend a ceremony organized by Hydro-Québec.
