About this opportunity
The Canada Graduate Scholarships - Master's (CGS M) program from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC) is designed to support students in applied sciences pursuing research-oriented master's degrees (thesis or research mandate stream). The program aims to contribute to the development of research skills and the training of highly qualified personnel by supporting individuals who have demonstrated high performance in their undergraduate studies and at the beginning of their graduate studies. Applicants must maintain a first-class average for each of the last two years of study (minimum 3.7/4.3 or 3.55/4.0). This scholarship is available to Canadian citizens and permanent residents enrolled full-time in a Master of Science (M.Sc.) program at HEC Montréal. The funding provides financial support for research projects and activities related to the field of study, including research internships, supervised projects, dissertations, and theses. Recipients must not have completed more than 12 months in the program by December 31 of the competition year and must not have previously held a CGS M scholarship.
